Terms and Conditions
Current terms for orders, payments, shipping, returns, invoices, privacy, and customer support on Follow My Pen.
Last updated: 8 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern purchases, orders and related services made through the website www.followmypenblog.com and its current test or staging versions. The website is operated by the seller identified below.

- Company ID: 53594835
- Tax ID: 2121448153

The seller is registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Section: Sro, Insert No: 151178/B.
2. Products and Availability
The shop offers selected writing-related objects, including fountain pen accessories, paper goods, artworks, linocut prints, ceramic pieces, notebooks and other curated items.
Each product page displays the current availability and stock information. If only a very small quantity is available, the website may show a low-stock notice. The cart does not allow ordering more pieces than are currently available. Products marked as sold out cannot be ordered through the checkout.
Some products are handmade, limited, pre-order or archive pieces. Small differences in colour, texture, paper, ceramic finish, print edges, numbering, signatures or handmade details are natural and are not considered defects unless the product materially differs from its description.
Product photographs are prepared as accurately as possible, but display colours and proportions may vary depending on the device, screen and lighting.
3. Order Process
The customer selects products, adds them to the cart, enters billing and delivery details, chooses a shipping method, confirms agreement with these Terms and proceeds to payment.
The customer can add an order note during checkout. This note is visible to the seller and may be used for delivery or order-specific requests.
An order is considered completed after successful payment confirmation. If payment is not completed, the order may remain unfinished and the customer may receive a payment completion link if an email address was provided.
The seller reserves the right to cancel an order if the product is unavailable, the payment fails, the shipping destination is not supported, the order appears fraudulent, or the customer data is incomplete or clearly incorrect.
4. Prices, Discounts and Payment
All prices are displayed in EUR. The seller is not a VAT payer, therefore VAT is not charged. The same final product price applies to private customers and business customers.
Shipping is calculated after the customer enters the delivery country and chooses the shipping method. The total price shown before payment includes products, applicable discounts and shipping.
Discount codes can be applied in the cart or checkout if they are active and valid. Invalid, expired, already used, minimum-order restricted or otherwise unavailable codes will be rejected.
Online card payments are processed securely by Stripe. The website does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe may support card payments and other payment methods such as Apple Pay or Google Pay depending on the customer device, country and Stripe availability.
Manual invoices may support payment by Bank Transfer, Cash or Card if agreed separately. For Bank Transfer, the variable symbol is equal to the invoice number unless stated otherwise.
5. Shipping Countries and Parcel Types
Shipping is available only to supported countries. Orders cannot be delivered to Belarus, Russia, Afghanistan, North Korea or Somalia.
Products are classified as a small parcel or large parcel for shipping. Ceramic products and large 50 x 30 cm prints are treated as large parcels. 40 x 30 cm prints are treated as small parcels.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by postal services, customs, holidays or circumstances outside the seller's control.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes and local charges may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Shipping Damage and Replacement Prints
The customer should inspect the package after delivery. If the package or product arrives damaged, the customer should contact the seller as soon as possible and include photographs of the package and product.
For linocut prints and graphic artworks, if the print is damaged during transit, the seller guarantees that a replacement print will be sent again at no extra cost, provided that the damage is documented and reported within a reasonable time after delivery.
7. Invoices
An invoice is generated for completed orders and stored in the CMS invoice archive. The customer may receive the invoice by email or access it through a private order link.
Invoice numbering follows the yearly sequence used by the seller. For example, invoices issued in 2026 use numbers 26001, 26002, 26003 and so on. The variable symbol for bank transfer invoices is the invoice number unless stated otherwise.
Invoices include the issue date, taxable supply date, due date where applicable, seller details, customer details, product items, quantities, prices, shipping and the final total. Because the seller is not a VAT payer, VAT is not charged.
8. Customer Account and Order Links
The website may create a private customer area for each order. The customer does not need to register with a password. Access is provided through a private link sent by email.
The private order area may show order status, tracking information, invoice access and product review options. The customer is responsible for keeping the private link safe and not sharing it publicly.
9. Order Emails and Tracking
The customer may receive transactional emails related to the order, including order confirmation, payment completion link for unfinished payment, packed order notice, shipped order notice, tracking information, invoice and review request.
When a tracking number is available, the website may display tracking information through a private order page. If the shipment is not sent through Slovak Post, a manual tracking link may be used.
A review request may be sent after delivery. Reviews are intended only for verified customers who purchased the product.
10. Right of Withdrawal
If the customer is a consumer, the customer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from receiving the goods, unless a legal exception applies.
To withdraw from the contract, the customer should contact the seller by email at hi@followmypenblog.com with the order number, name and clear withdrawal statement.
The customer must return the goods within 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice. Returned goods should be unused, undamaged, complete and safely packed.
The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless agreed otherwise. The seller refunds the product price and the cheapest standard delivery cost originally offered, where required by law. The seller may wait with the refund until the goods are received back or until the customer provides proof of return shipment.
The right of withdrawal may not apply to custom-made, personalised, clearly tailored, sealed or otherwise legally excluded goods.
11. Complaints and Defects
If a product is defective, incomplete or materially different from the description, the customer should contact the seller by email and include the order number, description of the issue and photographs if relevant.
The seller will assess the claim and propose an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, discount, refund or another remedy required by applicable law.
Natural handmade variations, minor colour differences caused by screen settings and signs clearly described before purchase are not considered defects.
12. Product Reviews
Only customers connected to a completed and delivered order may be invited to review products. Reviews may include star ratings and written feedback.
The seller may moderate or remove reviews that are spam, unlawful, offensive, unrelated to the purchased product, false or submitted through abuse of the review system.
13. Newsletter
Newsletter subscription is optional. The customer may subscribe through the website, newsletter popup or checkout checkbox. The checkbox is not pre-selected.
Each newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Transactional order emails are not newsletters and may be sent when necessary to process the order.
14. Privacy and Cookies
The website processes personal data necessary for orders, payments, invoices, shipping, customer communication, fraud prevention, analytics and newsletter subscription where applicable.
Card details are processed by Stripe. Shipping, email, analytics and technical service providers may process only the data necessary for their service.
Cookies and analytics are handled according to the cookie consent settings on the website. The customer can manage cookie preferences through the cookie settings link in the footer.
15. Preloved Listings
The Preloved page is presented as a contact-based listing area, not as a standard e-shop checkout. Unless a product is explicitly added to the shop checkout, the customer contacts the seller to discuss the item, condition, availability, payment and delivery individually.
16. Alternative Dispute Resolution
If the customer is not satisfied with how a complaint was handled, the customer may send a request for remedy to the seller by email.
If the seller rejects the request or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer may contact an alternative dispute resolution body in Slovakia, including the Slovak Trade Inspection, or another competent body listed by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
The European Commission's previous Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025, therefore it is not used by this website.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Slovak law. Mandatory consumer rights under Slovak and European Union law remain unaffected.
18. Changes to These Terms
The seller may update these Terms when the website, shipping settings, payment methods, legal requirements or operational processes change. The version published at the time of order applies to that order.
