The JanZander Design Imagine pairs silky matte CFK carbon with platinum-plated fittings, a magnetic closure and clean, minimalist lines. Mine joined the collection on 15 October 2026 with a Medium (M) nib.
ABOUT THE PEN:
The JanZander Design Imagine brings a sculptural simplicity to the fountain pen: a slender silhouette, clean lines and carefully considered proportions. In this version, dark CFK carbon meets platinum-plated fittings, creating a crisp contrast and a restrained, modern character.
Both the barrel and cap are made from resilient carbon fibre, ground to a silky matte finish. The carbon tubes are produced using a pull-winding process that increases their resistance to bending and twisting. A magnetic closure and an interchangeable clip complete a design where practical details are part of the visual language.
Behind the pen is Hamburg-based designer and goldsmith Jan Zander, who established his own studio after 22 years at Montblanc. His combination of design experience and hands-on craftsmanship gives the Imagine its understated presence.
