The first time I saw the Pilot Custom Urushi in my friend’s pen case, I was immediately captivated by its size and presence. The moment I held it in my hand, I knew it was a pen I would one day own. And now that day has come — in the stunning Prussian Blue finish, a color that shifts beautifully under the light, from deep navy to subtle metallic reflections.

This pen is impressive in every way — in its size, craftsmanship, and the feeling it gives when writing. The #30 nib is incredibly smooth and soft, gliding across the page with almost no resistance. Writing with it feels quiet, effortless, and meditative — every stroke carries a sense of calm and confidence.

The Urushi lacquer gives the pen a depth and glow that’s nearly impossible to capture in photos. It’s a perfect blend of tradition, artistry, and Japanese attention to detail.

For me, it’s truly one of the most beautiful and majestic pens I’ve ever held.
